Kantara Crafts Education Fund

Kantara Crafts is committed to supporting education both in Morocco as well as in the United States.

Founder, Alia Kate became convinced that education is the solution to many problems in developing countries through her extensive work with Project Adros, a Moroccan project that fights against child labor through education.

As a result, Kantara Crafts is committed to reinvesting a portion of its proceeds into local education and literacy initiatives and capacity building efforts among weaving cooperatives. Kantara currently makes small grants on a rolling basis to organizations (cooperatives, association, clubs) in Morocco. For more information about how to apply for the grant, please contact info@kantaracrafts.com.
